Vladimir Putin heard, via videoconference, the report of Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov on topical issues of the socioeconomic situation in the region.

The President held a working meeting with Astrakhan Region Governor Igor Babushkin via videoconference. The discussion focused on the region’s socioeconomic development.

The Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights paid a working visit to the Volgograd Region. Maria Lvova-Belova met with Governor Andrei Bocharov, representatives of regional agencies responsible for protecting children’s rights and interests, and also reviewed the work of several children’s social institutions.

Presidential Aide, State Council Secretary Igor Levitin and Governor of the Primorye Territory Oleg Kozhemyako chaired a meeting of the State Council Commission on Tourism, Physical Fitness and Sport.

The Minister briefed the President on efforts to develop the Social Treasury system, including the proactive computation of payments and provision of services to Russian citizens. Separately, Anton Kotyakov reported to the President about the Ministry’s work in the new regions.
