Vladimir Putin will visit Kyrgyzstan on September 20, 2012 at the invitation of President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.

Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

The summit’s agenda included regional security issues, combating drug trafficking, the situation in Afghanistan, and economic and humanitarian cooperation between the SCO member states. 

During the talks with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the two leaders discussed the agenda for the meeting of heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States to be held on Wednesday, June 15, as well as the achievements of Kazakhstan's presidency in the organisation.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on Training of Officers for Counter-Terrorism Agencies of the SCO Member States.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Counter-Terrorism Convention.

Dmitry Medvedev submitted Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Convention Against Terrorism to the State Duma for ratification.

Following the SCO summit, Dmitry Medvedev answered questions from Russian journalists.

The summit’s agenda covered efforts to strengthen regional stability and security, joint efforts to combat terrorism, extremism and separatism, measures to prevent organised crime and drug trafficking, and current international issues.

They discussed various issues of bilateral cooperation and current international problems.
