Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District Anatoly Seryshev held a seminar meeting on implementing the national ethnic policy of the Russian Federation.
The event was attended by Head of the Republic of Altai Oleg Khorokhordin, representatives of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs (FAEA), regional and municipal government bodies, members of the Presidential Council for Interethnic Relations representatives of education institutions, academic and expert community.
Seminar meetings on the practice and goals of executive government bodies in the regions of the Russian Federation as regards the implementation of the Russian Federation National Ethnic Policy Strategy to 2025 are conducted on instructions from the President in each federal district every year.
The participants heard reports on current issues by the FAEA and regional government bodies and mapped out priority goals for the near future.
Corresponding decisions were made following the meeting.
During their working trip, Magomedsalam Magomedov and Anatoly Seryshev held a working meeting with Head of the Republic of Altai Oleg Khorokhordin to discuss the Republic’s socioeconomic development and interethnic relations in the region.
