Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 17th High-Power Artillery Brigade.
For mass heroism and bravery, fortitude and courage shown by the brigade personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 17th High-Power Artillery Brigade, which shall from now on be referred to as the 17th Guards High-Power Artillery Brigade.
