Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Guards Designation to the 297th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by brigade personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 297th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade, which shall henceforth be referred to as the 297th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
