Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following his meeting with participants and winners of all-Russian family contests, held on January 23, 2024.
The Government of the Russian Federation received instructions to help families with children purchase housing on the secondary market using the subsidised mortgage programme, as well as to allocate housing to young families and families with many children whose members work in priority development territories.
Additionally, instructions to the Government concern the procedure for providing air ambulance services in Russia, as well as the possibility of re-evacuating patients after treatment to areas of their traditional places of residence (nomadic camps) with no transport connections.
The Ministry of Education, together with the autonomous non-profit organisation Russia – Land of Opportunity and other relevant organisations, received instructions to establish a nationwide parents’ association (council) as part of the This Runs in Our Family national family contest and coordinate its activities.
Executive agencies in Russian regions are advised to ensure that necessary engineering infrastructure facilities are available on land plots allocated to families with many children.
