Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, guests and organisers of the fourth Pokrovsky Cathedral national patriotic festival of bard songs.
The message reads, in part:
“The bard song in Russia has always been in tune with the times, and it enjoys popularity among listeners of various generations. I am glad that your festival is continuing the beautiful traditions of this popular musical and poetic genre, bringing together a large number of participants, both famous performers and talented young people.
I believe that this creative forum will become a bright, truly festive event and will give all those present good and unforgettable impressions.”
