President Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amending Article 25 of the Federal Law On Road Traffic Safety.
The Federal Law is to specify road traffic safety requirements in Russian law as regards driving with a foreign national or international driving license.
In particular, the Federal Law states that the ban on driving vehicles with a foreign national or international driving license during entrepreneurial or labour activity directly related to driving does not apply to citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, or to citizens of states that legally use the Russian language as an official language.
