Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the All Russia 2023 Modern Journalism Forum.
The message reads, in part:
“Your forum in Sochi has become a tradition for the journalist community. The forum is distinguished by the wide representation from the federal and regional media, a topical agenda and substantive discussions, as well as the participants’ ambition to contribute to the development of mass media.
Let me stress that the unbiased coverage of all the events in Russia and abroad is your job. You inform Russian and foreign audiences about the progress of the special military operation, restoration of peaceful life in Donbass and Novorossiya. And here, journalists’ responsible civic position and commitment to the best professional practices are in great demand.
I believe that the forum will continue to contribute to the increasing quality of media work, and the useful, creative ideas and approaches proposed by the participants will become reality.”
