Vladimir Putin sent condolences to President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar al-Assad on the tragic consequences of a terrorist attack on the military academy in Homs.
The message reads, in part:
“We strongly condemn this ruthless crime since many of the victims are women and children. We hope the culprits will get the punishment they deserve.
We intend to maintain close cooperation with our Syrian partners in the fight against all forms and manifestations of terrorism.”
The President asked his Syrian counterpart to convey words of sympathy and support to the families of the dead and wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
