Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ali Khamenei and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in connection with the tragic consequences of a terrorist attack in the city of Kerman.
The message reads, in part:
“The killing of civilians visiting a cemetery is shocking in its cruelty and cynicism.
Please pass on my words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families and friends and wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured.
We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirm our commitment to waging an uncompromising fight against this evil.”
