The President signed Federal Law On Ratifying the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Arab Republic of Egypt on the Transfer of Individuals Sentenced to Imprisonment for Serving their Sentences.
The Treaty was signed in Cairo on June 23, 2009.
The Treaty regulates Russian-Egyptian relations in matters of transferring individuals sentenced to imprisonment to serve their sentences in the countries where they hold citizenship, which will promote the protection of the rights and lawful interests of Russian citizens.
