Dmitry Medvedev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Yang Jiechi, currently on a visit to Russia.

Dmitry Medvedev visited Hong Kong on what was the first visit by a Russian leader to the People’s Republic of China’s Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Mr Medvedev addressed the forum with a speech on opportunities for economic cooperation between Russia and the Asia-Pacific region countries.
