The President signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Russia-Belarus Protocol Introducing Amendments to the Agreement Between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on Joint Provision of Regional Security in the Military Sphere of December 19, 1997.
The Protocol was signed in Minsk on December 3, 2022.
The Protocol updates the contents of the Agreement preamble and specifies the terms used in the Agreement, introducing the term “operations of the regional grouping,” which refers to daily and combat activities of headquarters and troops (forces) which are part of the regional grouping.
